Floor Map

1st Floor

With the CIQ and waiting areas, this floor serves as a gateway between land and sea.

  • 1.CIQ Area (1,283㎡)
This area is large enough to handle CIQ processing for 4,000 cruise passengers within 2 hours. Without any pillars in this space, the floor layouts can be modified depending on the cruise ship.
  • 2.Waiting Area (804㎡)
The two large ocean-themed pillars welcome cruise passengers in this area. Each side of the pillar is decorated with traditional crafts created by local artists. These pillars make a great spot for the first sightseeing photo opportunity in the area.
  • 3.Tourist Information
Visitors can find out information about the city and nearby destinations, and how to get there. (Some brochures are available in English, French, Italian, Korean, and Chinese.)

2nd Floor

A versatile floor where visitors can have educational experiences, enjoy the view, or get a bite to eat.

  • 1.Observation Deck (2,872㎡)
From the large open space of the observation deck, people can enjoy a great view of docked cruise ships. When cruise ships arrive and depart, the deck fills with local people who are there to welcome or see off visiting ships.
  • 2.Restaurant BAY ARCE
Relish the taste of fresh local seafood while delighting in the panoramic view of the sea and cruise ships from any table in the restaurant as the seating is designed at three different heights.
  • 3.Seminar Room (256㎡)
3m-high ceilings, a panoramic view of the harbor through large custom-made glass windows, and equipped with a screen and a projector, this spacious multipurpose room for rent is the perfect venue for your events. Two more rooms are also available for rent.
  • 4.Kanazawa Port Learning and Experience Room
A fun place for both young and old to learn about Kanazawa Port. Don't miss out on the most popular attraction, Kanazawa Port Ship Steering Simulator, which is the largest in Japan comprising 14 monitors, each measuring 70 inches.

Parking

The terminal can accommodate about 100 tour buses.
A taxi stand, shuttle bus stand, and parking spaces exclusive to cruise passengers are also available.

Illumination

As the sun sets, and the sky darkens, both the harbor and terminal are illuminated with the 5 traditional colors of Kaga Yuzen, called "Kaga Gosai". Upon departure, passengers will enjoy these views as a striking contrast to those seen during the day.
